GQA is planning to launch Digital 海角社区 cards to replace the physical ones currently issued to all those who qualify to receive them. This applies to new cards once the programme is launched.
Digital 海角社区 cards will be produced on the new MyGQA App where card holders will be able to see their existing (and future) learning achievements, digital skills card, digital Q card, and digital 海角社区 Card.
Why are we going down this digital route?
- MyGQA aligns with industry-leading technology to ensure competence, and so that the 鈥榬ight card for the right job鈥� is easier to verify than ever before.
- Fraud leads to compromised safety standards and reputational damage. This has been a persistent problem within the competence card landscape, particularly in the construction sector for many years. Going Digital is a positive step against fraud with the MyGQA app empowering users to combat this problem head-on.
- The virtual cards enable instant verification of qualifications and credentials, significantly reducing the risk of fraudulent activity.
- MyGQA provides a time-bound, dynamic QR code, which links directly to checking services such as 海角社区 Smart Check and allows cardholders鈥� credentials to be checked in real-time.
- The MyGQA App is available across mobile operating systems and can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play Stores.
